Frederik Næblerød

Frederik Næblerød (b. 1988, Denmark) graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2018. 

Currently, Næblerød is exhibiting with his third solo show Family Affair in Alice Folker Gallery. Næblerød’s recent exhibitions include Masquerade at Gl. Holtegaard museum, Holte (2023), Work in Progress at Vejle Kunstmuseum, Vejle (2022), Time To Move at Horsens Kunstmuseum, Horsens (2022), Lazy 8 with Farshad Farzankia at The Telegraph, Czech Republic (2022), Seriously Fun with Jeppe Hein at Jeppe Hein Studio, Berlin (2022), FED LER - Krukker i kunsten nu group show at Gl. Holtegaard museum, Holte (2021), Little Island group show at Philipp Haverkampf Gallery, Berlin (2020), In full sunlight group show at Kunsthalle E-Werk, Schwerin (2019), Protection from bad weather with Casper Aguila at Politikens Forhal, Copenhagen (2019) and Monsters and Politics at Kunsthal for Maritim Æstetik, Grenaa (2019). Næblerød has also participated in international art fairs at Dallas Art Fair in Dallas and Untitled in Miami Beach with Steve Turner Gallery (US); at Art Cologne in Köln, Market Art Fair in Stockholm and Enter Art Fair in Copenhagen with Alice Folker Gallery (DK); and at NADA in Miami with Canada Gallery (US).

His duo exhibition OFF GRID with Casper Aguila received an award from The Danish Arts Foundation in 2019 and their duo project Korshage 2015-2016 was nominated for the Art Critics Award (AICA Award) in 2018. A book about the project was published with a foreword written by Mikkel Bogh, the director of SMK - The National Gallery of Denmark.

Næblerød’s works are included in public collections such as Horsens Art Museum, Vejle Art Museum, Kastrupgårdsamlingen, The Danish Arts Foundation, and New Carlsberg Foundation as well as several private collections.
